What would happen if I tell my therapist I have been cutting?

I have already been in a mental hospital a few months ago for an attempted suicide, and I'm scared I will be sent back if I tell my therapist I've been cutting myself again recently. Will I get sent back if I say anything about it?
I'm sorry to hear about being in the hospital that long, I know how traumatizing that can be.
But more than likely it all depends on the therapist.. in my experience this has been the case,
because they have to "report any dangers to yourself and others."
And by law that is considered a danger, and if you just got out after an attempt, they might panic and send you back.
