Method What weight would block the brain blood supply but wouldn't cause suffocation?

I've heard that with an appropriate weight attached to the neck (somewhere in the 5-15kg range) the blood supply to the brain would get blocked but you would not feel suffocation (so I guess that's less painful). Does anyone have data on this?
