I am playing a certain gacha game since over a decade. Thus far I spent maybe 10 bucks on it. But recently there was an event with incredible good rates and I spent 15 bucks on it. I got what I wanted. And the price-value ratio was pretty good. Insanely good compared to the 99% of the usual events. And this is why I decided to spend money. Though, in the future I never want to do that again. And this is why I am saving more ingame currency free2play now. I wouldn't say I wasted money though. The game makes much more fun since I pulled these extremely good characters.

I bought me some new glasses. Despite the fact my eyes barely changed. I only had to pay 30% because the rest was covered by an insurance. Maybe it wasn't necessary to spend 100 euros. But the story is really complicated and I don't want to elaborate on all the details. But maybe I wasted some money.

I had an anime figure collection. 95% of figures are fake imports from China. Otherwise they would have costed a fortune. If all of them were orginals I would have payed more than 1000 Euros for sure. But I really enjoy to look at them in my room.

I recently bought Astro Bot PS5 for a pretty pretty good price. I will sell it and make profit with it after I played it.

I am not sure what I want to buy next. I try to be stingy because I don't have much money. At the same time I don't want to simulate poverty out of fear to become poor. Which I did in the past and it was horrible.

Similar situation for gachas, except it was a web game called taming.io with similar gacha systems and rates. I bought 60000 golden apples for 100 pounds to really bad pulls. Plus, since the game works on a card system, I needed 50 of that same card to actually unlock the pet, and 150 for all three slots in-game. Most cards are common pets which meant that after 150, getting dupes were worthless basically, so getting all the good pets I wanted wss tipped into near non-existance. Also, what was the game you played?

I'm probably about to drop a hundred bucks on Pokémon cards today because money is so meaningless to me even though I know I need to care about it I seriously don't care about money at all.

One Piece Treasure Cruise. It is a phone game. I feel sorry for the whales the usual prices are utterly insane. I can remember the first time I spent one Euro for it. There always was a risk to lose the account if your phone goes broke. And I would have had a mental breakdown with my over 10 years account. One time my phone hit the ground very badly and I was very lucky it survived. Though, I learned about the fact that when you once spent at least one Euro in the game it is almost impossible to lose your account if you play fair. You will receive a mail after the purchase and with this mail account your game account will always be linked. And you cannot lose your account anymore.

I personally see every online purchase as wasting money. I cannot justify it for myself- because I can't find reasons I *really* need it.
However I waste a lot of money daily with buying food- I don't buy groceries and kind of end up buying something nearly every day. Often times it is also just when passing by somewhere- I buy a snack like a drink with a protein bar or sandwich. But spending 5-10 euro's every day for food aside from my regular meals adds up to being a huge waste :/

The last time I actually wasted money with a big purchase was a few months ago- also on a gacha game. It was actually wasteful because I lost to a character who is pretty useless.

I got scammed $33000 (it was meant to be for a new car)…. And lost everything I have… leading to excruciating financial stress, in which I can't even afford to pay rent now…

In prison I paid $200 for this awful, broken tablet I'm on now. Before prison, a pay to play game I got addicted to and spent $3000. In my whole life, probably my wedding.

I get take away food once a week and that's fairly consistently a waste of money- when you consider how much you pay and, what you get.

I also have an appalling business head. I spend far too much on materials and tools for work.

I bought two turntables and a digital DJ deck totalling about $4500 and I hardly use it these days. I'm too attached to get rid of it but that money would have been better put into savings

Last summer when I bought replacement shoulder rests for my chair and they turned out to be a little bit smaller so they couldn't fit at all, I felt like my money was truly wasted
