What happened to the chat feature and why can't I view others' profiles anymore?

For me the chat feature is still there. Also, a lot of people have private profiles. Maybe your account's too new or something.

You must post a few times and your account must be some days old to access such features. Not sure about seeing profiles, though, you are probably being unlucky and clicking right on the hidden ones.
