I'm wondering if anyone has had positive experiences with valproic acid? My Dr wants me to try it but I have only heard horror stories about side effects...

Oh, it's a shame that this user is no longer active. Anyone with experiences with valproic acid? I would also like to understand about this medicine. I read about the side effects, and I realized that my doctor lied to me about this medication. I'm afraid to use it.
