OpenAI Says It's Scanning Users' ChatGPT Conversations and Reporting Content to the Police
I've seen a few posts here about people tricking ChatGPT into giving them information, so I wanted to share this article. Basically if the AI thinks you're a danger to yourself or others it can be reviewed by staff and maybe (apparently not with self harm) be forwarded to law enforcement.

Do I think this is nothing? Yes, people say awful things to GPT every day, and law enforcement does not have time for everyone who asks chatGPT to build a nuke, but still be careful how you use AI.

Well thats just to be expected. If you go on any forum and say "hey imma shoot up this school at 11 later" expect some companies at your door that day. For poeple who can't help themselves
Just dont log in, use the tor browser. Chat gpt "hallucinates" and gets facts mixed up so much I wouldnt even trust it with instructions to make a pancake tbh

Also chat gpt only consolidates informations that can be found by just googling menually. Its not like chat gpt is this wise creature from another reality. And the amount of bullshit it fabricates. Someone must be pretty delusional to use for suicide method researches or takes medical advice from it. But of course there are some people with delusional ilnesses and it can create big problems for them if they accept its information without being able to think critically

I argued with chatgpt over something ridiculous. I was trying to see if it would ban me. Now it sends me into a sign in loop lmao. It's so damn sensitive.
IMPORTANT: if you want uncensored ai just download something from huggingface, install a text manager from github, and you're off!
Requirements: 8-12+ gb vram. you could also run on straight cpu+ram but it would be slow. Just going off of a decent desktop would be enough. I think there's also a horde service for shared processing. I'm not an expert though.
I do the uncensored ai stuff for my dumb rp sessions. And also fuck corporate data collection.

Yeah, I guess the deal with ChatGPT is that people might think it's private, but it's definitely not. I really don't think this stuff is applicable to 99% of the people here, and it seems like it's only in place for extreme situations where people are in danger. Even just not logging in and using a VPN basically gets rid of the threat of them keeping data on you, but still I would avoid saying anything stupid.
