Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Too many regrets

Friends, if I don't ctb I'm going to need to do something with my life. Do you think being a trucker would be fun? Or hellish? I think I might enjoy the lifestyle. A modern monk in his rolling cell. I've given up on marriage and family anyway. OTOH it seems like it could be an extremely stressful mistake. Hygiene and health down the tubes. I'd never be jacked with abs again. But I just might find peace out there. Thoughts?

Long haul trucking can expose one to drugs and prostitution as some of the larger trucking stops. It can be tedious and there can be significant anxiety going to places unfamiliar. On the plus side if you are socially inclined you might be able to shoot the breeze on CB radio with other truckers.

You might find getting a job with a local contractor for FedEx might give you a familiar route and get to know customers as well as being in your own home every night.

Fifty years ago I had a job requiring travel to different states and it seemed like I found every deficient motel room in every city. If you try it and find you don't like it, you can usually find something else until you find what works for you/

Neither. I'd find it boring, but comfortable.
I imagine long roads, and a lot of listening to radio. But I also don't enjoy driving, much.

Thoughts?
It's not a huge investment. You could try it for a year or two, and then do something else if it doesn't suit you.
There are also quite a lot of driving jobs you could transition to; from heavy dumpers to taxis.

As such, I think it's a good idea.
I also think it can be compatible with physical training and a family, if you wanted to. No need to go all in on the monk lifestyle, even though long drives will give you solitude.
