Things looked up from last night

I reached out and apologized to someone I wasn't nice to. It resulted in them accepting my apology and now we're friends on Discord

I was also about to reach out and be friends with multiple people in my gaming scene

Today, I felt mentally exhuasted

I lacked direction or much of anything to do, but mostly I was in a rut

Just getting out of bed and taking care of myself felt like a mountain

But I did it

I drank citrus infused water with chia seeds from my water bottle

I cooked 2 meals today

I didn't order out or binge eat

I kept active with my weighted hula hoop and stretching

I ran errands

I even spoke up to my roomate about something she did that I disliked, telling myself "it doesn't matter how she feels, me standing up for me matters"

I still admittedly feel like shit

But I can look forward to tomorrow

An awesome friend of mine is willing to hold space for me tomorrow to vent

I am looking forward toward the emotional support

Great for you to for being courageous both to apologize (that's not easy!) And to be righteous for yourself and tell someone they did something you didn't like (also not easy!)

Both can be emotionally and physically draining. Totally get that... and I admire you for both.

Great that you also did positive acts for yourself. You should feel accomplished - you are!

It seems kind of like any sort of training though (running, weights, whatever) in that those parts we haven't used get sore when we start but over time they get stronger and less exertion is needed as our strength and endurance improves.

Thank you for the energizing post!
Cheering you on...
