Discussion Time perception during death.

Some people seem to think that time perception may be different when you're dying, what do you think?

Epinephrine is a pretty amazing hormone. When fight or flight kicks in there is an effect called time dilation. Time moves faster to the individual when the CNS is excited and slower when depressed. Didn't mythbusters do an episode on this? Maybe someone can find it.

This reminds me of an '80s movie called "Jakob's Ladder".
It's about death and time dilation.
I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but I will leave you with a quote from it:

"If you're afraid of dying and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the world."

I believe that. My time perception was really off when I was close to death. I barely remember it, but I do remember that things seemed to slow down. Especially, when watching someone do an abg on me.
