thoughts on sn (sodium nitrite)

ive seen a lot of talking on here about sn
i just wanna know what yall think abt it and if any of u have tried attempting with it or have considered it

It has numerous unpleasant side effects. It is my method of choice but I don't think it's as good as some people think it is. I think it's ok. Pro lifers like to say it's painful which I think is untrue and then you have some people here who I think become so invested in it as their method and may want to think it's the ultimate method and overlook the bad things about it.

Seems like a hell of a hassle to get something that'll still be an unpleasant death. I don't get it. You're poisoning yourself, that's not gonna be a dignified way to go but I suppose there are worse methods out there...

As someone who has kn (basically sn).
its a really sucky method if you have extreme SI. Its kind of glossed over.

Its a lot of preparation. So many times i tried to measure it for my drink but i couldn't because paranoia would set it in, and even after that, if you drink it you have to deal with 10 minutes of feeling your body shutting down (while not painful, it is uncomfortable and anxiety inducing) and si goes absolutely insane.
and if i take a benzo, i dont have the energy to do all that prep (especially because its usually 1 am), and if i dont, then im too anxious to do it. And sometimes your stomach hurts during your fast and its exaggerates with anxiety, and then nausea..

I am not a pro lifer in anyway. Im just kind of frustrated with myself and my method right now. Just want to let others know

Look if the method is properly executed then basically all the side effects of it can be circumvented so don't let ppl make u think it's necessarily a bad method cuz it isn't as long as u have Cns depressants available to u u can use them to prevent Sn from causing anything uncomfortable and to do it's thing smoothly for example benzodiazepines are required because they offer that effect they can put u to sleep (if taken at the proper timing) before sn kicks in which in itself does cause u to lose conciousness so once that happens i don't think there's any pain involved but u have to make sure u follow a specific protocol

The protocol is sort of necessary but you don't have to fast for long also there are other ways of absorption like rectal because it can be absorbed through the rectum which means u don't have to fast if u do it that way but it might cause a burning sensation which could be just tolerable especially if u take in the sedatives

i only have two options: sn or partial hanging and im 100% sure about choosing sn. it's easier to prepare and i personally find it less scary.

being strangled by a rope seems terrifying to me. sn isn't painless either but i guess the discomfort is much more manageable, especially if you got some meds on you and follow the recommended protocol.

i think sn is the best method in general, if you don't have access to nembutal or opioids of course.

Hey sorry for asking but you said kn is basically sn... why aren't more people talking about this?

It seems like an alright method, I feel like it used to be easier to get until DMC went down. I haven't been able to find any since. I do think a gun is a preferable method but SN is good because the chance of irreversible side effects is less of a risk. With a gun, you do it wrong and you could be a vegetable. If you're saved early while hanging, same outcome, or brain damage at the least. Falling is extremely risky and if you don't go high enough or survive some other way, you will be incredibly injured. As far as I know, SN doesn't have the same risks associated with it, so despite the downsides, it's rather popular. Plus in some countries, it's cheap, easy to get, and a private meeting

While SN has a lot of issues and can cause some unpleasant symptoms, the biggest worry I have is it's reliability. Vomiting is almost unavoidable with SN and as a person who's always been prone to nausea and vomiting in general, It is very likely i will vomit despite the anti-emetics. And once you have vomited, your protocol and plan are out the window and now you are playing a gamble as you don't know what lies ahead. PPh recommends having another cup if u vomit but don't know if it's gonna be possible to take it when your body is breaking down, you are vomiting all over the place and you already have an aversion to it because of its horrible salty taste. U might just cause your body enough damage and still come out alive with kidney problems and other long term effects. I don't know if it's the right method for me anymore.
