Discussion Testing yall for BPD

I was just wondering if how many ppl may have Borderline Personality Disorder from here, so there is this test. This obviously not 100% so you should seek other things aswell if you think you are bpd, but it's might be a good thing to do this test.

Also 80% of people with bpd will try atleast once to CTB. And atleast 10% of them do it sucessfully. But this numbers are kinda bs imo bcuz what if someone doesn't get diagnosed? For comparison a lot of ppl without it almost had a full white circle.

A random internet quiz is not a valid way to see if you have BPD or not. You would want to get diagnosed by a professional and maybe even get a second opinion.

I do agree with the fact that an online test is not the way to be testing for BPD - I have a pretty solid diagnosis agreed on by several mental health professionals, yet the online tests usually disagree with this and say I don't show BPD traits.

Also, I don't think diagnosed BPD numbers will ever be reliable due to the massive overlap with things like cPTSD and autism (and the fact a lot of professionals will diagnose BPD without considering the overlap).

Anyways, I believe the test OP was talking about was this one if anyone is interested, do correct me if I am wrong.

I was diagnosed with BPD when I was 16 and have been telling the psychiatrists I don't think I have BPD but they don't care. I have that label and can't get rid of it.

It's nice to see from this test that I may very well be right. I know it's just an online quiz but it feels good to see the low results.

I found my low paranoid ideation score funny given how paranoid I am. Maybe it is because the questions only focused on paranoia regarding interpersonal relationships. I like a few select others, but relationships are largely pointless and frustrating to me.

Overall I am not sure about myself. I believe it would be impossible to find a human that does not exhibit a few cluster b traits to some degree. In my opinion having a personality at all is a disorder.

Online test aren't diagnoses.

I wish people would keep this at the forefront of their mind. At best these sites serve as a pathway to introspection.

I'm not diagnosed as I refuse to speak with doctors except to lie to them when I'm placed on involuntary holds. But I have suspected I have BPD. I know this is just an online test but I figured I'd do it anyway.

Online diagnostic tests are mostly bogus (except for the PID-5 and PBQ-126). I'm diagnosed with BPD w/NPD traits.

these tests are hard to do cus autism brain has a hard time with the questions like "hmm does this include xyz? does it not include abc? does this thing count? does this other thing factor in? what does this mean?" also like some of the questions werent applicable really. tests are hard.

Obviously don't diagnose based on a random online test. But i have bpd and decided to do it anyway. Not shocked by my results. I'm completely out of control when it comes to this disorder.

I don't even need a test. I've been diagnosed professionally with borderline personality disorder. And yes, it's not fun. It feels awful every second of every day for me. I wish my stupid pills would work. I wish my therapy would work. I'm only going to therapy because my mom is worried about me, I truly don't think I'll get better. I've been like this for 13 years.

I have been diagnosed with BPD since i waws 16, as everyone else has said this isn't proof of a diagnosis! I still enjoy these little quiz's though! :)

Multiple doctors have suspected me to have bpd and I do relate to a lot of symptoms and experiences of people with the disorder. I am trying to get a diagnosis but mental health help is useless.
