I wanna hear about all of your happiest memories no matter how small, vague, detailed, long or any other metric. Whatever you consider your happiest moment, I wanna hear it.
I'll start with mine.
Mine is kinda foggy on many details but I was really little. Maybe around 6? I was in my mother's homeland with family and we went out all day that day, I got to eat a really tasty stretchy icecream I still think about and my mom bought me a nice hair accessory. I don't know where it is anymore. We walked all over and I pet lots of stray cats and dogs, and met a ginger cat I wanted to take home. It was the kindest, most affectionate cat I ever met. My mom was laughing, I was happy and her family wasn't demeaning back then.
At night we talked together after getting home near the pool and it felt like a movie. I can't remember what we were saying, but it was so scenic. Dark, just the moon reflecting onto the pool and onto us. She said something nice I remember smiling at, kissed me on the forehead and picked me up and we went inside. Then at night she got ready to go out with her sister and friends. Probably to a bar, I never asked. She looked down at me and smiled, saying goodnight. I asked her to stay, but she said she couldn't. I told her she looked like a movie star and she laughed and thanked me before kissing me on the head and leaving. I fell asleep, wishing she was there too, but happy. I still think of how she looked, her curly hair, red lipstick and those hoop earrings she wore. She really did look like a movie star.
