Discussion Success or happiness?

Just read an alrtical that said at the end "success doesn't always make you happy, but happiness always make you successful".

I personally don't agree with this. But that is my oppinion. What would you choose success or happiness?
For me it is success.

Happiness, because it would lead me to success. If I succeed and aren't happy, I wouldn't succeed anymore.

Both concepts of "happiness" and "success" to me have several very complicated layers to them, and while they can be a component of my goals and/or how I'm feeling in the future, it's not that clean cut for me.

Success to be happy, because I think that's why we're here on this planet. It doesn't matter what you have to do, if it will make you happy, do it. And of course, not going to jail is a good thing.
