Self sabotaging to cope with it all

I stopped my 50mg Steraline cold turkey last weekend and have been unmedicated since because I felt fine. About 30 minutes ago I realized that I've been hypomanic since I stopped it. Is this just withdrawl being funky? I haven't felt the usual withdrawl symptoms like headaches or brainzaps. Or was I already manic while I was taking them and that's why I felt "fine enough" to stop them in the first place?

usually antidepressants induce mania in bipolar and schizophrenia and you need antipsychotics alongside them if you can take them at all. i cant take with my schizoaffective. most people with those disorders already make too much serotonin/dopamine. i suppose any sudden change COULD make your brain do weird things but going off my antidepressant helped stopped my mania
