I kinda wanna see what people listened to this year.

Don't like streamings of any kind, so I listen to music locally. This year I discovered many new genres such as metalcore/nu/altmetal and future/melodic riddim.

Yes, I have a collection of FLACs and I appreciate good sound quality with the ability of somewhat owning songs. Even got a proper sound gear (IEM with amp+dac).

Theatre is also up there but didn't make the cut for 2025 due to looping habits. Overall, Spotify just called me VERY mentally ill, queer/trans, and emo this year.




2010s were my peak music listening years as a kid but ironically a lot of this comes from musical artists I didn't know back then!



This being my top song is embarrassing as fuck because it's mostly from playing on loop since it reminds me of someone special...



My second favorite Will Wood album. Somehow my top one wasn't even on the list? This is just his most emotional/reflective album so I listened to this a lot during hard moments this year.

OMG another Will Wood fan!!! Ever since I found him in 2020 my top two artists have been Will Wood and WWATT. I even saw him in concert once! I'm curious as to what your fav Will Wood album is since you since ICIMI isn't your fav? Mine is The Normal Album, it's just so good. Can't beat those sweet sounds of suburbia ^_^

stream MURDER EVERY1 U KNOW. the gaburger album by gezebelle gaburgably will also rearrange the molecules in your brain. i don't use spotify that often because i don't have a subscription (can't afford it), so i mostly listen to music on youtube. mobile spotify just sucks for listening to music. i also got into burning cds this year.

I used to feel the same way but then I was seduced by the convenience. That's how they get you. You're a real one (I'm not)
Still have an old hard drive with a TB of music somewhere to recover someday though

i didn't use spotify that much this year (ever since i started building my offline library) but here's my wrapped (sakura by devon hendryx is my favorite song here, go listen to it, it's amazing)

Also I think it's funny that it says horror core because I only listen to suicideboys really from that genre but they have a song called "stop calling us horror core". Not their best song though
