We can't all get SN, carbon monoxide, or a gun. We can't all be so fortunate. You'll suffer one more time albeit in severe pain, but then never have to suffer again.

If enough research and planning is done, you can nearly 100% guarantee your death. With enough dedication it can happen if you're desperate enough. If people can set themselves on fire to die then you can find a way out.

If one were to keep looking for the perfect, peaceful, painless method. They would have lived many more months, years, or possibly even decades. Still wondering why they're still alive.

At what point do you just say enough is enough and think "I will die, even if I have to tear myself limb from limb". Sooner or later, life is going to drive you mad and you could grow extremely desperate.

I mean even if someone fails their attempt, or if it seemed too extreme. It still doesn't change the fact that they did not have a better method, so they chose the lesser of two evils, they chose what seemed most effective out of the few options they do have. Doesn't mean their attempt wasn't justified.

We would all push the magic button to disappear but we can't. And so many of us are poor and helpless. Sometimes you just have to use a rusty old farm tool to tear down the king's castle.

Sounds great until the king's guards catch you after having barely made a dent and throw you in the dungeon.

I literally don't care abt pain bc once it's done it will be no more, and nothing will compare to the fact that I waited over like 19 years since I was 12 only for this still to be the end all after trying so hard. But it just has to be guaranteed. I've only waited this whole time because it HAS to be right. There can't be surviving there really can't. I have family that has planned on trying to put me in a conservatorship since.. well since way before the age that that would even be considered. I was a little little girl and that's why they got me hooked on drugs

I've gotten to that point already . I'm so desperate I'm hoping to look for someone to kill me. None of my OD methods worked my hanging attempt failed and I want to die on New Year's Day

I think it's best to shake off the concept of a painless death as it is very rare, at least by my definition . Old people that die in their sleep painlessly also have to go through some sort of pain to get to the point where their body is ready to just switch off in their sleep. If you count not only the pain during the dying process but also the pain of the years before the dying process rarely anybody gets out of here without pain. Also if old people die in a hospital or care home we never know if they died without pain, of course the doctor will say when asked that the death was painless, why add bad feelings to the survivors? All my relatives died on me and I only know that my grandmother had a peaceful Passover because she died sleeping next to my grandfather, but for the all other ones I simply don't know, except for my father who had a painful death that I had to witness. Who actually goes through the process of having very low pain or no pain death without pain being there leading up to the day, without being in some sort of a freak accident? Maybe my view is skewed but that's how I see it.
