I have my SN, which I ordered in January and received in March through DMC, in an airtight glass container (with a plastic lid). It contains silica gel desiccant. Lately, the temperatures in Spain and in my room have risen to 40 degrees or more almost every day, and in my bedroom as well. I have air conditioning, but I can't keep it on all day during the summer in these temperatures. In the summer, it's always over 40 degrees in Spain, and I can't have the air conditioning on all day for three months. Sometimes I turn it on and other times I turn it off because of the cost. I'm sending a photo of how I have it stored. It's also stored in a drawer. I'm afraid it will spoil or lose quality after the summer, and I can't do the test strip tests or the aquariums because of my disability and condition. Can anyone help me? Will it spoil in these conditions? I'm scared; I don't know what to do

SN does degrade in high heat with very humid environment. I don't know further than this but the best option you have is giving cold and dry environment for them.

If you don't have one you can try to dilute SN, seal it, and then put on the freezer. Don't know about what solvents is best used tho.

In the freezer? I thought about the refrigerator, but I'm afraid moisture will get in
Also, I was away from home for two weeks, in a psychiatric clinic, and it's been incredibly hot in my area. A heat wave hit. I don't know if it's affected him

Degraded SN can be far more dangerous than SN due to prolonged suffering when taking it. I definitely need help verifying this but I think it might be better to just ditch it and buy new ones, especially if you know you'll have long trip aboard.

I don't think it degrades that fast and it is vacuum sealed. I doubt that anyone here can answer this question for sure as nobody ever did test rows at least not to my knowledge.

The best is to test it before use.

There's not much you can do. Just put it in the coolest, darkest, driest area you can and make sure to test before using it.

You've already done the best you can with the silica and airtight seal.

@quietwoods Thanks, anyway, I also have it in a drawer with a moisture-reducing solvent. I've protected it as best I can, or so I think💔🫶

just store in airtight in a dark cabinet low to the ground in the coldest room in the house. No point in putting it in the fridge or freezer.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Put it in an airtight container in and that in an airtight container and should be good.

@onmywaytothebusstop Thanks, darling. My house is also humid. It's a mess, there's everything. I'll do everything possible to preserve it, or so I think

Worrying about the exact same thing. Every room is humid and I can only hide it in certain places
Good luck

You can always bury it in the ground. Place the container you have it in into another container, waterproof, and bury it about 90cm to 122cm in the ground. The temperature is very consistent and stable at that depth at around 13C to 18C.
