Recently bought sn through a source mentioned here a few times (SD). I hope the site I used is legit and it ships quickly. Anyone use this source recently? How was your experience?

No idea about the source, but I got mine from a different source in under a week, still have no idea how to test it. If I open the bag, then it will degrade? But how am I supposed to test it without exposing it to air in some way? Idk it's frustrating. Mine says it's 99.0% Reagent Grade and looks like a fine white powder or not powder but basically like salt. I got maybe too much but that was the size it came in, I don't think I could've gotten less.

This is based on @jake3d 's write up, but aims to get results around the *middle* of the test range. When we get results at the edge of the range, eg the max, it may leave us questioning the accuracy, eg was the true value higher than the max (eg due to a mistake with the test method), but can't...

I find the instructions in the sn bible are a little easier to follow. There is also a sugar test. You combine sugar and sn and if that mixture is ignitable, you more than likely have sn. Only the aquarium test can give concentration results, however. In terms of opening and resealing, I'm sure it can be done. I've seen a lot of threads where folks test sn from specific suppliers and report back while keeping the sn. I want to do a little more digging about opening and resealing myself. Definitely be careful though, once opened, it will degrade. If it's in a bottle that had a seal, I would put that in a ziplock bag just to be safe.
Fucking bullshit. I went through all kinds of hell for the last MONTH trying to get this shit, and I can't even tell if it's legitimate or not. Testing strips come back ENTIRELY negative for nitrite for this supposedly 99%. Melting point test is a pain in the ass because it takes so long to get...
