SN/KN purity

I had seen in the SN bible that purity needs to be >95%. For KN I have seen the recommendation to have >=98%. I'm wondering if there is a difference in purity requirement between the two, or just two different opinions.

I seem to be able to purchase 95% KN. I'm wondering if this is a decent option or would be ill advised at that purity level. I am getting quite desperate. Of course a higher purity would be preferred, but if this is all I can get my hands on. If I don't find something soon I'll end up taking my chances on something unlikely to work.

95% purity KN would probably work, KN is a slightly higher dosage than SN anyways. Those 5% of impurities are unlikely to cause issues, as the nitrite is the part that induces methemoglobinemia.
