Hello people, hope you're doing well.. I'm here again with questions, sorry to bother.
Does anyone know if Mirtazapine could help replace benzos for SN? in my case whenever I take one I get extremely sleepy and drowsy, I have no benzos/ was planning on using only SN and ibuprofen. Would it help or is there a possibility it would make it worse? Have already searched and can't find anything. Thank you!

I'm also interested in this info; I have some Mirtazapine and Hydroxyzine saved as its the only thing my old shrink was willing to prescribe me for anxiety, simply talking about benzos as an option would get me a lecture at best.
(Granted one of them is probably expired by now)

I think benzos are the most flexible part of the protocol. Their only purpose is to sedate you, so if you have something else on hand that can help, there shouldn't be any issues. Only thing to be mindful of is the onset of action -- you don't want whatever you take to knock you out before you're able to ingest the SN, nor do you want it to be so delayed so that it doesn't have any effect before the SN does its thing. If you know how your body responds to the medication and are confident you can time it accordingly, I think you'll be okay.

Thanks! I'll give it a try about 20 min before taking the SN, it usually used to take like 2'-30 min to start affecting me

Hopefully it will help you! For me benzos are also basically no option
