Hi,
so I'm preparing to CTB and seeing how I've failed three times before I'd like to clear a few things up before I try again. I'd like to overdose on sleeping pills, down them with alcohol and then put a plastic bag on my head and fasten it with rubber bands around my neck. Though, the sleeping pills I have are supposed to be dissolved in the mouth and not swallowed (Olanzapin Actavis). But that would take far too long and I'm not sure what effect would swallowing have.
Furthermore, what kind of alcohol would be best to swallow them with and how much of it should I drink? I also happen to have kinito(prescription pills) against vomiting and nausea so that should hopefully solve that issue.
And lastly would not eating for like a day before swallowing the pills help me fall asleep faster?
Thanks for any help!

The timing of this would be very difficult to pull off. You are either going to put the bag on your head too early, panic, and rip it off or you are going to fall asleep and not even get to the bag. Also, as Cake so eloquently pointed out above, the pills and booze are not going to do it. Most people live through those types of attempts.

Unless you have a will of steel, this is not a viable method.

I've just come up with an idea. Stay awake for a very long time, take as many sleeping pills as you can without vomiting them out later, lie on the side of the bed put a giant plastic bag next to your head so it goes down towards the floor (calculate the volume of air needed before you fall asleep and tape multiple bags together if needed), roll yourself into the duvet like a burrito and tighten a belt around it, wait until you get very tired, about to fall asleep, and put the bag over your head, keep it sideways, tighten in with zipties, quickly stuff your arms into the burrito duvet by your body and wait a bit longer. I'm just guessing here but you might suffocate in your sleep. I've never tried this and never had sleeping pills either. If anyone has any comments on this, feel free.

Interesting. I read about this method in the final exit book and the author said he would have chosen this method if he were to die. I've also read that holding the rubber bands open just enough so that air can get through while you're in the bag is a good way too since when you'll fall asleep you will release the rubber bands. I also plan on wearing a face mask so I don't breathe the bag in while sleeping.

one time i tried to od, on 3-4 types of meds totaling 200-400 pils one of them was Zyprexa/Olanzapin and i just woke up, Olanzapin alone wont kill you.

type of alcohol do not matter. higher the ABV the better, just drink something you like.

below is from https://www.lostallhope.com/suicide-methods/statistics-most-lethal-methods
Lethality: How likely is the method to cause death (where 0% is no chance, and 100% is absolute certainty)
Time: An opinion on the length of time the method will require to produce death
Agony: The amount of pain and discomfort you would expect from the use of the particular method (ranked on scale of 0 to 100 where 0 is no pain/discomfort and 100 is the most pain/discomfort possible)
