Silly things in life that keep you alive?

I know it's not the healthiest but I usually smoke a cigarette and drink a cold Monster (my favourite being the white one) almost every day to keep me at ease or have at least something good in my day. I also like to watch silly cat videos from reels/tiktok while doing so. Do you guys also have something that brings you a little bit of joy (no matter how silly it is, I would love to read you guys, sometimes surviving in this world it's about those lil thingies <3)

watching my favorite show series makes me pretty happy,, kamen rider series (watching kr wizard now) is just so good to me and makes me laugh how goofy the effects are in the older series but how awesome all the suits are. i always try to watch an episode whenever im feeling really down,, it really is always the small things that help you feel a little bit better ^.^

I remember watching Power Rengers when I was a kid, it reminds me a lot of it. I will check it out as it will remind me of a random user in a random site on the internet, I know it's silly but it makes me happy that someone's happy as well while watching it <33

might sound a bit weird but i like listening to the sounds of humpback whales LMAO. whales are so majestic and beautiful and listening to them really brings me quite a bit of comfort. (whales whales i love whales)
also like you mentioned with power rangers, i like to watch shows that i grew up with. cartoons like spongebob or adventure time are real goofy.

I eat at McDonald's pretty much every day. It's unhealthy and not the most exciting menu, but it's a pleasant little ritual. I spend most of my day lying in bed with severe depression, so it's a chance to get out, see other people, and listen to random music.

I also binge on candy. Chewy tangy candy like taffy is my favorite

seeing my cat in the morning. she doesn't meow but recently she's been learning how and so i'll give her a churru treat and she'll chirp at me and come running lol. also i'm super into the weeknd and love his music so i'd be sad to not listen to him anymore. also waiting to read some good books lately!

I very much like listening to Radiohead when I feel overloaded with things. Oh, and talking to people I find pleasant is something I find quite vitalizing for me as well.

I recommend especially Kid A, for an album of healing. I think Radiohead's odd, cryptic lyrics--find a peculiarly comforting understanding within me. I often like to keep the lyrics out when listening; fine words, and often poetic, I say.

My Ex and building my new PC.

The thrill of waiting for the parts to arrive is truly satisfying. When they arrive I am practically jumping with joy. On the negative side, it's quite a lot of money. I dislike spending money in general so this is tough. But I am over the roof ecstatic to finally build it.

I have to buy maybe three more parts give or take. $1000 more maybe. I just need all the parts now! Ahh, this thrill is one i've been wanting for so long. Safe to say, I am in high hopes recently.

As for my Ex, circumstances are sticky, but I love him nonetheless.

My cats are probably the biggest thing keeping me from CTB. I love them so much and they love me back and the thought of them not knowing why/where I went breaks my heart. I also enjoy watching twitch streams p much everyday

Of an evening, i enjoy just sitting quietly on my own once everyone else have gone to bed. I put on a show and partake in a whiskey or two.

This forum is a great crutch for me while I try to limp on through. Music, fims, games, podcasts. Anything to distract. I also try to bribe myself through with Pepsi Max, chilled caramel latte and take aways.

I also enjoy animal videos. I figure, if I'm not going to keep a pet, I can at least enjoy watching other people's. I love 'Useless Farm' and 'Girl with the Dogs' on YouTube.

I want to get back out into Nature more too. I love beautiful scenary. Especially water related.

It's so lame but I've been noticing the ducks coming back for the season (I think) in the swimming pool near my apartment. Sometimes I feed them frozen peas, and one time I helped some of their ducklings out of the pool. It's something to look forward to.

Bit different than 'stuff I like' but if I have an appt booked or a logistically challenging day coming up (e.g. fitting in things like town errands with work with gym etc) then it becomes an autopilot focus to get to and through that day, not letting anyone else down.
