• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    šŸ‘‰ View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Going by my own experience, the most important thing here is: do not pick the scabs. It extends the healing time, introducing more possibility of infection and makes very ugly, permanent scars. I know the urge is hard to resist but you wouldn't wanna ruin your body with nasty scars.

Here is some stuff you should avoid from my experience:
  • Avoid hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, or iodine once scabs are forming (kills your own healing cells)
  • Avoid picking/scabbing (restarts bleeding + scars last seemingly forever)
  • Avoid sugar, junk food, fried stuff, processed meats (spikes inflammation, tanks collagen)
  • Avoid smoking/vaping (nicotine starves the wound of oxygen)
  • Avoid excessive alcohol (dehydrates + slows blood flow)
  • Avoid letting it get dirty or super dry (infections and such)
  • Avoid tight bandages that cut circulation
  • Avoid ignoring signs of infection (red streaks, pus, fever -> might want to visit a doctor)
Once you hit beans (fat layer under your skin), you have to get stitches within 8 hours. No joke. An infection is pretty much guaranteed
