It's honestly relieving to have more people hate me, and because it was someone close, it means I can become more independent and less reliant on others, so it makes me feel happy.

Sorry to hear that, I hate myself and isolate myself a lot, so I understand at least partially. I just want you to know you don't need to be alone to be independent. and IF you are sad about this relationship ending it's okay to feel that way.
