Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm starting university in April but I have strong ctb thoughts and it's difficult. Why make an effort to get a degree if I'm going to kill myself in the end? Probably before getting it. It's a terrible battle.

Because you never know where that road my lead you. University times are great for exploring life and finding people that can help you with that terrible battle.

The best reason of all. To prove to yourself you can do it. It is quite an accomplishment that many cannot complete. I know you can if you put your mind to it.
I understand how you feel, was in a similar position myself and meant to return to university this week.
Try to stick around at least until you start again, I know it's easier said than done. When you go back take all the support you can get- we pay for it at the end of the day. The mental health support may be crap (ofc differs everywhere) but the academic support is what makes the biggest difference.
Try to fight academic pressures contributing to ctb, because deadlines can always be moved, exams can be pushed back, do things at your own pace, there is no shame in it.
I relate to you so hard i'm taking classes right now and it's really tiring getting yourself to do any work you get assigned. I also continuously zone out in lectures and play catch up at home.

I managed to get through university, on a bit of a wing and a prayer. I say go for it, the distraction might help and could open up many opportunities for you. If you are struggling with things it's probably best to be upfront about illnesses. I had a really bad episode in my final year and was given some extra time to get my work done. It can be stressful but I'm quite proud of myself that I made it through.

Sounds good! My degree was in a techy subject too :-) Not on quite that level but I find science and technology interesting. I really threw myself into the dissertation at the end. Wrote something like 30,000 words. I wish I could go back in time and do it all again. :-)
You might find it interesting enough?
I won't lie to you Uni stress can be devastating for some ; others flourish ... Who knows
It does look pointless like you said , but hey , so is my comment! ;) (and many other things humans do)
