Ratchet for carotid compression..25 mm vs 50mm?

Hello,

So, I can only find a ratchet with 50mm width...it is recommended to use 25 mm...I am guessing, less force is required with 25 mm? is that true, I was able to pass-out...but, needed a lot of force...would 25 mm help significantly, or it doesn't matter?
