Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I want to know the best way to keep my relatives from snooping on my data after I CTB. I know about the basic precautions like encrypting my hard drives with bitlocker and setting my phone's password to something even I wouldn't remember without a hint. However, I still need a way to prevent my parents from using my SIM card to access my direct messages and other accounts. What would you guys recommend?

I was just about to ask. At first I thought it would be enough to reset my PC and destroy my phone, but I found that the authorities can easily recover the data, so my family can just ask them. From the research I've done, it seems to be impossible.

I'll try to do a deep research later and let you know if I find a solution.
If you find anything, please let me know.

If it's an obvious ctb then I wonder how much effort the authorities would put into accessing data that is difficult.

I'd look for the answer here, or ask @COP2CON himself if you can't find the answer in his lengthy post.

Family will receive a summary without even asking, according to this post 👆.

Mhhhhh no. The day I decide to, everything will be "perfect" :)
It's probably the #1 reason I haven't done it yet is because it seems like every method has its risks.

I'm afraid of losing my memories
I don't understand. You're ready to CTB, but you don't want to lose your memories?

Honestly, someone who decides to jump from the 25th floor doesn't stand much chance of being saved by a bird, haha.
