@JesiBel, Thank you and appreciate you sharing your knowledge. this is helpful my rope is climbers rope 11Mm thick and made polypropylene it doesn't stretch much, it was concern of height as you mentioned if the feet dont touch the ground it should work is great assurance. i have tested the pull-up bar as an anchor point it seems sturdy. now working on knots slip (double) knot for the noose and bowline for anchor point and will test that. about any noise and convulsions after a person is unconsciousness, will it help to tie the legs and have some material like tissue in mouth to suppress the noise. your feedback will be appreciated. Thank you!
True, the idea of Full Suspension Hanging is to use your full weight without touching the ground. So, even if you're suspended a few inches off the ground, it's enough; there's no need to be very elevated.
Oh, I tried looking for a reference to "slip (double) knot" Do you have any videos to find out which one it is?
A knot that tightens when weight is applied would be ideal (for the noose)
I wouldn't recommend tying your hands or feet; it would be better to keep them free to make it easier to get down from the chair/object you're standing on.
I would also leave my hands free so I could adjust the knot properly in its position (as close to the neck as possible), so that when the full weight is applied it closes itself as much as possible, compressing the carotid arteries well and achieving our goal of losing consciousness quickly. The rest will be a matter of time.
If you tie your feet, you'll be forced to jump out of the chair. It's better to make less abrupt movements so the knot behind your neck doesn't shift or change position.
Regarding noise, maybe wear a face mask? (like the ones we used during the pandemic) It will even help to ensure that your face is not completely uncovered and is less shocking for the person who finds you. It's not like it's loud; playing music or a podcast/movie in the background at a normal volume, as if you were actually listening, should be enough. It will even create a slightly more "pleasant atmosphere" by listening to something you like.
