i plan on catching the bus sometime after christmas, i think i'll try partial suspension hanging. open to other types, though. any suggestions as to what i should use? such as rope a belt etc.

I think a rope would be better than a belt since it can tighten easier, make sure it's thick enough so it doesn't cut into your neck. Suspension can be really peaceful if done right.

Yes, but its also very difficult to "do right" for some people. Don't think its as peaceful as people like to say. Belts and ropes both work with a little determination, there are many reports of belt deaths even from celebs.
