I wasn't using a bike light when I went on bike rides at night. But then a cop pulled me over and gave me a warning that he'd have to give me a ticket next time. So now I use a headlight on my bike when I go bike riding in the dark.
Last year my oldest car developed a clicking noise from under the hood and both headlights stopped working. Since I have more one car, I drove the old car during the day only. I determined the clicking noise was coming from a bad headlight relay located in the fuse box under the hood. I replaced the relay and the headlights started working again. @Greg, you implied I was ignorant in some other post relating to covid, so I was just trying to get even. You're quite right though, I can be ignorant at times. Take care and stay safe.
