Useless piece of trash

Hello. I know all about partial hanging. I know all about the "sweet spot". The thing is that putting the rope under my Adam's apple seems to work better. I imagine I'd pass out faster with less discomfort. But I usually practiced with the slip knot above my Adam's apple because i was worried the noose would pull against my Adam's apple if I place it below.

What do you guys think? I'm using the standing method(it looks like full suspension but my feet touch the ground). I also fear it would make a louder choking noise since the lower part of the throat has nerves that cause you to cough if pressed.

This isn't one of the questions that's been asked a million times about where to place the noose to pass out. This is about the concern of pressing the Adam's apple reliability and the noise of coughing.

I'd love to hear from the people that have more personal experience and know more about this than I do.

Thanks for any help.

Generally speaking, for most people it's best to do it above the adam's apple because the carotid arteries are right below the jaw. However, human bodies are all different, and it's possible that some people may have an abnormally high adams apple and would need to place the noose below it. Very rarely, though, I would presume.
