Having all those things are very stressful when SHTF. And when SHTF (think about this covid stuff lately) , you get things like divorce, and the kids are gonna be messed up too.

I agree with @mahakali88. That you're young doesn't diminish your pain, perhaps it even magnifies it, but I think it's a bit too early for you to give up. There's still plenty of time for you to find a partner and get a family, if that's your desire. In my country, the majority aren't married and don't have children at your age. It's first when you reach 40, or thereabouts, it becomes very difficult to change your situation.

Getting divorced doesn't mean it`s a forgone conclusion the kids are going to be messed up .
Heavens!! I feel so OLD!! I am 64 years young and i do not have wife/gf, no kids and no money. WOW! I am a loser!!Oh I also have no friends, bonus i guess! I have a older brother and a youngr sister, but I have not seen/heard from them in over 30 years, I am bi and my family was/is ultra conservative, and they HATE ME for that. when my "parents", they hated me too becasue of the bi aspect, left $2,000,000 for my brother, my sister got $500,000 and I got ZERO.BUT I have my family here on Sanctioned Suicide all is great! My family here is EVERYTHING to me.

I think this but then I also think it's wishful thinking of me imagining that I would be happy with any of these things. I thought I would be happy with the situation I'm in now before I actually got here. I'm pretty good at imagining myself being happy and coping with situations, but in practice I don't handle stress well and never feel motivated to do anything.

WOW! I LOVE your train of thought on this. You ARE so spot on. When people that I hav emet start talking about money and are very self centered, I hold out my right hand palm up and blow over it and say this is what you leave with. I ALWAYS either get dirty looks or curse words directed towards me. That is why I LOVE this site and YOU and the rest of the family here. We love, care and support each other minus the darn money angle!

Well, in my case it's all the opposite. i have things, I 'have it all' and i don't give a shit, i don't want to have anything, at all. And i dont want to want anything. I just dont and please dont ask why, it's not because of any reason at all. Im allowed to have/want/like/care about/be 'interested' in/wish/desire/do etc 'whatever I want' and i couldn't give any less of a fuck. I want nothing. So i cant relate to you by any means, but i guess it's hard for you so im sorry, that you cannot have what you want

In this ecomonic climate, getting a divorce creates an added massive stress (lawyers,money, selling of the house, childcare etc) for both parents. Kids also dont automatically get along with their parents new 'partners'. Dunno, perhaps I've been listening to too much Jordan Peterson. I'm certainly not an expert as I'm single and no kids and likely will stay that way (which used to sadden me), in part I blame my fucked up divorced parents for making extremely cynical about the whole idea, but perhaps its for the best seeing as the apocalypse is happening right now.....
Awesome thoughts bro... In the end nothing matters, but surviving till the end makes these things important... But finally the fact is nothing matters and the world is fighting for the wrong things
