Orhan's Pamuk's red haired woman ends with a son in prison for patricide, and his mother writing a final testimony on the accounts of the novel.

The mother is really sad in it.

And as I read it, I realized that my own mother will feel the same way when she finds me dead in two years.

It's sad... but that's the way it is.
