Opinion on other suicide forums?

I mean r/suicidewatch specifically. Just got banned there after a post of mine went semiviral... I'm not a 14yo threatening to take 3 paracetamol pills because I argued with my parents so I guess the mods didn't like it!!

Not that much of a loss though. It was very annoying getting dozens of dms of people that just get off to the feeling that "they are helping" like dude... WHO the fuck are you WHY do you say you care about me ?? your ass didn't even knew I existed 10 minutes ago.
Not to mention the people trying to flirt bro...like I've gotten dms asking me if I had an onlyfans or sold feetpics or had a bf.

Genuinely atrocious. So glad I found this site because that place and the savior complex kids there annoyed me so much. My fault for expecting seriousness in reddit.

i very much suspect most people in comments/dms are not even suicidal themselves, they just have savior complex and like to feed their ego by "helping others". grosses me out

reddit in general blows. and yes, it is savior complex. i think people just inherently want to help other people thus making themselves feel good. it's totally biological and i think it's a good thing, like a safety net for the human race. but it's annoying if the help is worthless.

I can't stand r/suicidewatch. I was on there for a few weeks before somebody in my DMs directed me here, thank god.
SASU is blocked here so it would've been hard for me to find it otherwise.

I had so many frustrating interactions. I was very upfront about being moreso there to rant and get my thoughts out than actually wanting help and I'd still get people being quite angry at me for not accepting their help, as if I'm obligated to. They'd honestly end up being kind of mean about me not wanting to improve. It just goes to show that they were really just talking to me to make themselves feel better rather than to actually help.
I would post roughly every other day and the more I posted the more often I found my posts were being blocked by moderators to approve before posting, usually it would take at least a day until eventually they stopped letting me post all together.

It's exactly as you said, if you're not some teenager who is asking about overdosing on suppositories or some stupid shit, your post will likely get removed since mods will sense your seriousness, or fear that your serious post might encourage others.

Reddit is a shithole, im so grateful for this platform, reddit is filled with the most evil people I've met, and they dont wanna help, even relationship advice or suicide, doesn't matter, they wanna take advantage of vulnerable people.

Its either to groom them, coerce them, manipulate them after "helping" if they arent flirting or harassing you right off the bat. This problem is huge especially when i was a minor posting on these sites, now that im 22 its not an issue anymore as i just dont disclose my gender.

And if its not someone outright evil, it's some basement dweller thinking a depressed person with nothing to lose would let his disgusting ass hit before they off themselves, with no regard as to the fact that someone gross like that thinking they have a chance is a reason to kms. No regard for their suffering, they dont actually care about the person, they just wanna get laid, and they think they are victims in these cases for some reason?

Even I dont consider myself a victim of this world, ive had a good life but im defected. Im not a femcel either, as this is solely a specific type of person that only exists on reddit or 4chan, and lots of men and women are not this atrocious. Fuck reddit.

The only other suicide forum I'm aware of that allows free expression and perhaps doesn't attract those with a savior complex is suicideproject.org. It's a microblogging site, sorta like Tumblr. It's strictly for story-sharing though, and doesn't allow method discussion or partner finding etc.

Exit International also has its own forum, but is only available to paying members and requires approval.

SaSu is definitely on top as the most uncensored, versatile, and user-friendly suicide forum. I'm so thankful this place exists.

No buddy, you weren't saving lives. You just made (who knows how many people) choose a lot more painful and unpleasant alternative suicide methods.

Be careful of such people folks. New members with little messages who as you about SN sources. That could be him, or other like him.

And yeah I agree on being careful with who to share sources with - you never know who might lurk here and what their intentions are. For everyone's sake, sources should not be given out like candy.

That's what I meant in my post: in forums about suicide, depression, or anything related, you find plenty of men who seem to want a girl to give them pleasure before they die, or to save her and have her become their girlfriend... Those kinds of sites are also awful, because a few weeks ago I remember writing a story about being rejected and my desire to die. However, I mentioned that I hadn't done it and that it would have been stupid (to kill myself over a romantic rejection), yet they deleted it! As if I had alluded to something bad, as if I had alluded to killing a girl or something like that, when I was only trying, ironically, to raise awareness that many people experience my situation and that the ideal thing is to think clearly and not let yourself be carried away by that kind of emotional pain.

Now, I don't know what your ideal is, but I personally would be willing to commit double suicide with a girl. I base this on the ideas of Osamu Dazai, the Japanese literary concept of romantic suicide (shinju), and my motivation to leave this world with at least one final positive feeling. If you think many people will message you just because they want something with you or to save you, there's a chance some of them think like me and it's not so much that they want to save you or anything like that... I say this because I'm aware that I won't meet "the love of my life" here, but if the opportunity arises, I'll find a woman with whom I can make a pact for double suicide.

Same here, r/sw makes me so angry, I should just delete it off my feed. But I found SaSu through it, which has been I didn't realize would even exist to try to find on my own and also I found it when I didn't even know I needed it most. So I guess it gets a point for that. But yeah, besides one positive interaction, fuuuuck that sub.
