Makes you laugh, even the Labour Party leader Kier Starmer who has the charisma of a worm wants to speak about the suicides, woohoo we are mainstream now.

But what does he want to speak about, if elected another £100,000 spending or a realisation we don't want to suffer so we leave.

I say give us 12 months of counseling and if you haven't changed your mind, peaceful N for everyone, haha I don't think that will come, well let's see what he says, if the elderly are suffering I'm fine with that as it's a starting block and we can get rid of the PPeH.

I envy those who managed to free themselves from this world, the UK certainly is such an anti-suicide country, it's especially difficult to ctb here so I admire the courage of those who managed to overcome all the complications involved in leaving behind existence.

I think that only those who die are truly fortunate in such a horrible world where there is unlimited potential to suffer, I see it as being inhumane how Nembutal isn't legalised but making suicidal people go through councelling before they would be allowed to die peacefully would make little sense as wanting suicide is a perfectly logical response to having awareness of the true futile and harmful nature of existence.

Giving people N would save the NHS a fortune in wasted resources.
These politicians are supposed to be intelligent, caring people. You think they would have this figured out by now.

While I don't like subjective restrictions and gatekeeping on who, how, and where one is able to access peaceful death, I'm willing to settle for a "reasonable" compromise with pro-lifers such as a waiting period and some evaluations (objective ones of course, not bullshit ones where goalposts keep moving). It may not be the most ideal situation, but even if one is guaranteed the option (no bullshit bureaucracy or anything like that), then they would be able to have more solace in the fact that their suffering is not indefinite and actually have a 'real' option to exit suffering.

The UK is a hellhole. New government won't change anything.. only thing they could do is reverse Brexit so I can move to Europe. 😞 not gonna happen.

Mental health services in the UK are non-existent, I'd say it's that bad. And the government are a bunch of right-wing clowns, what could they ever progress..

This would be a dream come true. All we need to do is elect a left-wing party and convince them, not sure if Labour is one.

That initial jump doesn't seem so scary, almost like flying.

OMG, can't believe someone must have reported my favorite song and deleted their YouTube channel, :smiling: how petty but they can't delete Beachy Head,

Bit harsh on the PPeH they have been a great source of information over the years and will continue to be as Governments will never make it easy for people to leave.
