• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

    Donate via cryptocurrency:

    Ethereum (ETH):
    Monero (XMR):

Since I'm still in my probationary period (less than full forum access), I wanted to ask about necrobumping (replies to threads that have not been active for long periods of time).

In this forum in particular, it can be tricky, if not outright triggering, to see a post by someone from months or years ago. Whether they caught a bus, recovered and moved on, or just disappeared, the emotional impact on those who knew them may make it worth considering something like a universal thread expiration date, after which they're archived behind the Sanctuary, or something like it.

I understand that a lot of threads have long-term value, but those could be (and have been) stickied.

SaSu's unique format means anything done elsewhere would necessarily have to be reviewed and/or modified before implementation here, but it seems prudent to have a discussion.

Meanwhile, I'll keep bumping up old Forum Games from before COVID.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

(P.S. I know that people are doing their own archives by quoting posts into their profile post sections (I see you! lol:heart:) but I'm thinking of fullscale implementation.)
