I bought Meto because everyone on here said it was the best choice and it was easy to obtain. I bought from a Greek seller and it was in the US within one week. Not sure which is theoretically better though.

I just edited it, but I think I'll have access to both or at least I'll be able to get either one.

Use both if you can...both work on different receptors in the brain...together, they would provide additional protection against nausea...

Why both and why those dosages? Does't the dosage matter with my weight? I am just under 68kg.

Receptors that control vomiting in the brain include:

- acetylcholine
- dopamine
- H-1 receptor
- NK-1 receptor
- 5-HT3 receptor

Meto binds to the dopamine recptor...and Zofran binds to the 5-HT3 receptor...

So, both provide additive benefit for reducing nausea and vomiting.

The dosages I mentioned are the ones that are recommended by different authors..I have taken as much as 60 mg meto and 40 mg zofran...with no ill effects...

weight-based dosing is not relevant in case of anti-emetics.

But, if you have to choose only one...then Meto is the better choice...it speeds up gastric emptying...and is a weak 5-HT3 receptor agonist also...

I take both for a condition called gastroparesis. Johndoe1 is right... they differ but combined are golden.

How do you get Meto or Zofran? I don't have access to them thru prescription. Is there a way to buy them in US without prescription (thru online websites from US or other countries)? I want to use Meto or Zofran for SN (Sodium Nitrite).
