Goodbye letters are a very personal thing. What one wants to say isn't necessarily what you should say.
I guess a goodbye letter should come from the heart.

yeah, but its helpful to have some guide you can base your note on. maybe as simple as the list of things you could want to mention. and of course you also can read the guide and refuse to use it
