i know it shouldn't be that hard to make a slipknot suitable for suicide,
but who knows, there might be someone with an interesting "twist" to the original slipknot.

i'm also thinking about stuff like soaping up the rope... all thosel ittle details

if you happen to have a pic of your slipknot, can i see?

The reality is that the type of knot or material is not as important as it seems. I've seen videos of people who managed to hang themselves successfully with very simple knots... I don't know why some people find it easy to lose consciousness quickly and others find it so difficult.

yeah i know a lot of people successfully just wing it.
maybe some have an easier time than others finding the right arteries because of body weight, or it could be many different factors

I have read that some people have better developed pathways of the vertebral arteries and the brain stem is supplied with blood for longer after the carotid arteries are compressed. I think that's why they need a little more time.

That explains a lot. Partial suspension is the only method I have available, and it didn't work when I tried it.

why do you think it failed? due to the different body properties in different people, like about the vertebral arteries?
do you feel like you did everything else perfect?
what material did oyu use and what was your anchor point, if i may ask?
