Looking younger sucks

I'm almost 26 and people LOVE to tell me looking 19/20 is a good thing. As someone who just started a new job, yeah I LOVE being put in a child's place as literally someone in their mid 20s. No one thinks I couldn't have a kid, well funny I lost one. No one would no since no one cares to ask. I LOVE people assuming I'm not married or in a relationship or have NOTHING serious in my life. Yet, I'm supposed to ask questions to get to know people or I'm the asshole? I'm supposed to go up to 50+ people as a new person or I'M the asshole, yet EVERYONE can assume MY ENTIRE LIFE!!! I'm not built for the stupidity of humanity.

I know I do and because of that people automatically think there's nothing I can say to this person that will relate to them so I don't even care to know their name. So when I stay quiet and they look away 2 milliseconds after the slightest eye contact and get mad I don't care to want to gain their attention to ask theirs. I heard to judge me for in my 20s bro. I heard you assume I don't have a life. Fucking hell. I hate this older generation. Like God forbid your children FINALLY learned from yalls mistakes and advice and didn't have kids young, trying to save more, trying to be themselves, care about the environment and our education. It all get spit back in our face and we get told you're not grown you don't have kids, why do you care, I said be yourself but not like that. The shits bull.

I'm also stuck with baby face (aided by my wife's insistance on K-beauty skin care routines) but I've slipped into the age where I'm now happy for it.

I feel you though, I was talking to a coworker today saying that the new/young people act like I'm one of them even though I'm a grouchy old man in comparison. I definitely get lumped in with them at first glance in a field where experience is valued. (and btw I'm so sorry people said something insensitive about your child and I'm sorry that you had to suffer that loss.)

But like I said the older there's more social benefit to looking younger. Will only get better.

almost 21 but get 14/15 pretty much anytime i go out, doesn't matter how many tattoos or piercings i've got, always the same.
sucks cause i don't get taken seriously, like, at all

I have the same issue. I am in my 30s, yet people tend to think I am like 21 or something. It sucks.

Oh gosh I'm the same ^^; I'm nearly 28 but I look like someone who just finished high school. I look like I'm around 17-20-ish. It can be annoying and I've found that people generally take me less seriously because I look so young. I also get talked down to a lot, like patronised, as if I'm still a teenager and not an adult. It's embarrassing.
