I'll tell you what worked for me.
I was aware of the calories. It doesn't mean I weighed everything and considered every little ingredient in my plates, I just knew what kind of food I was eating.
Reduced liquid calories (alcohol, sugary beverages, etc) and fats (never eliminated them, a drizzle of oil is good, half an avocado every now and then too, nuts are healthy but not to be overcomsumpted).
Chose high volume/low calories foods: legumes and potatoes as go-to carbs, pasta/rice/cereals are more caloric but having them sometimes is perfectly fine, lots of vegetables, lean protein sources (I'm vegan so tofu tempeh seitan etc), drink a lot of water. All of this to reduce calories but at the same time to not feel hungry.
This way I dropped 50 lbs and to me it was almost too quick.

It is important to trust the journey and not be obsessed by it, have space to enjoy food as a pleasure too, it's normal to want a snack sometimes, or to have a tasty meal if you have company.

Hi, I don't have really a meal plan... I usually just put a bunch of things together and called it a salad. I like cooking but I don't want to spend 3 hours doing it every day, so quickness is important.
A typical salad was built around protein, so seitan (grilled/stir fryed with little oil) or tofu (blenched and then stir fried) + legumes (consider them as carbs not protein) + vegetable(s) of your choice depending by season. Dressing usually lemon + oil/tahini + sriracha/gochujang (I like spicy food). Learn to use spices so you don't get bored eating like a gym person. Takes 20 minutes to compose, it fills your stomach and it's ok.
For winter months air fryer is super useful, it allows you to grill single portions of tofu etc very quickly. Also soups are easy to do and you can put almost anything inside.
The three things to keep in mind is to check calories from fats and carbs (vegan protein sources are quite lean usually, of course I'm not talking about vegan burgers, more like tofu/tempeh/seitan), do the switches if needed (potatoes/sweet potatoes/legumes instead of cereal for everyday meals), drink a lot of water.

Sorry I wanted to tell you some more things. I get that this website is a strange place to say so, but it's important to not overthink or judge ourselves too much. Sometimes you'll binge: that's okay. Sometimes you'll drink three beers in a night: that's okay. Some weeks the scale will stay the same or go up a little: it happens. You'll reach your goal anyway, it's better to stay consistent 80% of the time for 9 months than being 100% committed for 3 weeks and then returning to old habits.

That said, I suggest you to search something like "fit vegan recipes" or "vegan personal trainers" to get some inspo other than my sad salads . Hope it was helpful.

Eat foods with high satiety index like potatoes, lean fish or salads, since they make you feel full for longer. Go for sugar free and fat free products when shopping and try to include some form of cardio in your day, doesn't have to be anything hard, just something you'll enjoy and do everyday.

However if you want some unethical ways then nicotine and meth can suppress your appetite quite a lot, you can try forcefully vomiting after every meal or buy tapeworm eggs, which I highly highly highly don't recommend.
