Letting You Go
A father stands by his daughter's choice to die

Letting You Go documents the hardship that a father had to face after his daughter, Sanne, exhausted all her resources to try and find meaning to life. After nine years of treatment with no positive results, Sanne uses her right to die with dignity in her country. She is drowned in fatigue from suffering with mental health. Her father understands his daughter's circumstances and accepts the path his daughter has set for herself. What is important is that Sanne made her choices to die peacefully with complete sound of mind -- contrary to what pro-life advocates like to comment otherwise.

To whom may it interest, I've wrote in greater length a documentary about Eelco de Gooijer who died with dignity at his own home. His insufferable mental health was what lead him to die without any pain. You can find that thread below this post.

I've seen the first one and I thought it was beautiful and very emotional. What a loving, caring father to stand by his daughter this way. Will watch the second documentary as well!

I wish my son had felt that he could speak openly and honestly about the decision to end his life. I'd still be hurting like hell but at least I'd fully understand the reasoning behind him wanting to set himself free
