When I kneeled I held my full weight on my neck fully and still wouldn't be able to pass out. Do you think this is because I didn't put enough weight on my carotid arteries? Should I try a different position? Do u think I'll be more successful then? I found the pulse to my neck arteries and I put pressure on that spot but 4 minutes in I still wouldn't pass out

Cousin of mine succeeded at partial while "standing". Tied a rope end to a clothing rod in a closet, the other end around his neck (probably a slip knot), planted his feet against back of closet wall, and simply leaned forward. His mother found him like that.

A knot that tightens itself when you apply your weight is best to compress the carotid arteries and quickly lose consciousness. For example, the noose knot, which slides well and is easy to do.

And place the ligature under your jaw.

📌 'How to locate the carotid arteries?'

The more of your weight you apply, the better, this is why Partial is a bit tricky.. You're not using your full weight and you are touching the ground with your body.
