I was shown this video a while ago and it's pretty shocking. In brief, it's explaining how lacking NHS mental health services are especially for teenagers/children, with a lot of them being denied treatment, having to wait years for it or being sent to facilities miles away from their family and friends for treatment once they're finally offered it.

A lot of it is an issue with being understaffed and underfunded, though there are some horrible workers who are quite frankly failing these kids and their families. Because of the issues with understaffing/underfunding kids aren't offered help early on (which would probably be much more beneficial) and their conditions usually have to be incredibly bad before they receive treatment.

Anyways, I thought it was pretty interesting and shocking to see so I figured it'd be worth sharing here and seeing what anyone else thinks of it, if you've got the time spare to give it a watch.
