Ketamine therapy definitely saved me when times got dark for me. It has helped me start healing from decades of trauma and my CTB thoughts have decreased in frequency and intensity. It's probably not for everyone but worth a shot, I'm seeing massive improvements on Spravato. Weird that whenever I do the therapy sessions with instrumental music in my headphones I'm at peace with myself and the world and it actually makes me WANT TO LIVE. It makes me happy to be alive. FWIW I hope it helps others.

Anyone else have good experiences where ketamine helped reduce the frequency and intensity of CTB thoughts?

I can't wait to do my session today.

Yeah I'm doing IM ketamine treatments for pain but it indirectly did help with my suicidality, however it's been over a month since my last session and I'm now suicidal again so who knows.

I did ketamine therapy for a while. It helped. But unfortunately, they stopped it because it was making me dissociate. I'm trying my damn hardest to hold on.

That's good news that it works for you but why has it been over a month since the last session? Do you mean IV ketamine? If so, I is VERY expensive and not covered by insurance. Try Spravato? It is covered by insurance and you can get weekly treatments.

Wait what did they expect it to do!??

It's a disassociative drug. It's supposed to do that. For me, the disassociative effects helps tremendously with dealing with all the God damn fucking trauma I've experienced. I'm a bit confused why they would discontinue if it was helping.

Do Ketamine at home kids, it's cheap and you can dissociate as much as you want :P doing it through the medical system is super expensive and they won't even let you experience the full effects cuz having fun is illegal.

I take it every day and it's a life saver, only thing keeping me going. Stops all suicidal thoughts and makes life feel great and meaningful for a while.

IM is intramuscular and it is covered by Medicaid where I live. I had to stop momentarily as there's a mouse infestation where I was living and had to temporarily move away. I'm looking forward to getting back going with it

Had it a few times, it did not do anything for me but i suspect the dose was too low. It was in a medical setting.

This is great

Why is ketamine not talked about more in this community? It's literally the best thing for suicidal thoughts and ideation.

Spravato? For me, at first Spravato did nothing. But after a few times I saw an impact.

My first go with ketamine as been lozenges via an online provider. I would like to get back on that again as I saw more benefits than Spravato but then again it's also covered by my insurance.
