Are there any survivor stories ? If so in what condition are they left in ? Out of curiosityFrom what I've seen at beachy head there has been 100s of successful suicides, the cliffs are about 530ft tall ( ideally over 250ft for a fatal jump above water). Because it is a known suicide spot there may be volunteers looking to talk you down.
All other cliffs listed are over 400ft tall so technically should also be high enough. Although nothing is guaranteed
I'm also considering some of these spots myself and looking into them more, but ideally I would want to jump at night but most of the spots require a bit of travelling or little hike which is a little daunting for me 21F
Flamborough looks to be the highest at 120 meters according to Google. The highest point may not be a vertical drop though so you'll need to go and research (ideally in person or see some drone footage via Youtube).
Hi mate, I went to Bempton cliffs this October in preparation for Beachy Head. Incredibly easy jump imo. I regret not doing it right there because now I'm not even in the UK anymore and can't come back so you have a very capable choice. There are no guards and after about 1 mile there's no more border around the edge. Beware because it's not straight vertical drop but it's high enough even if you hit water. And speaking of water there are like no beaches so you drop down straight to water. And let me tell you those waves and that water is unforgiving and no one will even find you there. Couple parked cars there but no one is watching you at all. Of course there's a chance they monitor sasu for threads like this but I'd rather share this with you. Try to behave like a person wanting to see the beauty if you go there so they don't profile you. Oh and the entrance is free for 16-24 year olds so don't act shocked if they tell you that like i did lol.

That is very fair, I can totally see why you'd want to avoid the water then yeah. There are a few spots that have some rock formations and the waves weren't reaching them. But also anyone who jumps up from heights usually ends up with a bad mutilated body. I don't drive either and I got there by train to Bempton station, and then it's a 30 minute walk up yeah. From Manchester it took me 2 hours or even longer and to cross the entire right side of the cliffs and come back took about 1 hour. Also yeah the video wasnt loading for me either at first but then I tried a different browser and it works now!!
Yeah, it's different from a place like Beachy Head because of that i think, maybe even deadlier cause they can't recover someone as quick.
at the time when i was there the weather was really bad so there was no one on a stroll, so i think this entirely depends on the weather, i'm also not sure what the "season" is for those types of landscapes. I was able to get close to many edges and climb over the fence once to get even closer, i cautiously looked around every few minutes to make sure no one followed me. There was, at some point, an observatory nest for someone to watch over the birds, but that was staff-only. it had huge binoculars so they could theoretically use that? but no chaplaincy or police cars in sight like at Beachy Head. there are also a couple phones that connect to the emergency coast guard so they're definitely aware of the risk. but once again, i haven't seen anyone even looking from afar, the workers were either at a cafe or at the entrance, both of which are far away so that you can't see where i took the pictures from. I would say you could work it out without looking too suspicious yeah. Just don't look nervous at the entrance if you can.
This seems like the perfect place to die, when it isn't cold.
That is a great idea!! I grew out my hair and stopped dying my hair vibrant colours and had the most basic clothes on months before for preparation to blend in. Was considering a camera as well for Beachy Head.
