theres a bridge that goes over a pretty busy motorway next to me
the barrier is literally like 2 feet tall so i could for sure get over it, but im not sure it would actually kill me
its like a 10-15 foot drop which probably wont kill me, but surely getting hit by a car going 60mph straight afterwards would? idk, any advice helps :)

I wouldn't do that, as you could easily kill other people in the process

The fall is unlikely to kill you and honestly getting hit by a car isn't a high guarantee either. So much could go wrong for so many different reasons, on top of it being a liability for others. It's not a method

Please don't. This is most likely gonna cause a crash with multiple cars involved, risking the lives of those people in the cars, including kids.
As desperate as a lot of us are to die, I think others don't need to be put in danger by our attempts.
Where I live a guy stood on a bridge above a motorway intending to jump. a car crashed into another one because of that. 2 young people died. The guy on the bridge lived.
Just my two cents on this, asking you to please overthink that method. No disrespect here though, I understand.

i thought about this just today and was thinking about running onto the road or jumping out of a car driving on a highway. it's easy for me to to imagine dying on the road because of how fast cars go, but nothing is ever that simple. i'd hate myself if my suicide attempt lead to people dying instead of me. it's hard to come terms with most methods being unreliable.

Full suspension hanging seems like the best bet. Shotgun if you have access to firearms. Jumping if you have access to ALOT of height. Those are the ones Ive been considering
