Honestly every year, even if I've been OK that year, I view it as a failure. I'm only young too. I view myself as a failure constantly, but especially now. For me this is just facts no judgement around it.
As a result I've never really had a birthday party. If others suggests one or organise me one, I always hate it cos I don't think I deserve one. I don't want to celebrate my own failure, I'd rather let it pass.
Therefore, I must be atleast a bit successful. Or I'll never let myself be happy.
