It's been awhile and just wanted to say hi. I'm doing better and in some ways worse but that is life.

I found something I love to the degree that it even competes in my mind with wanting to date which is something I have not experienced to this degree before.

I feel I teeter the edge between recovery and self-destruction and that's okay.

Currently getting back into ACA and AA but also am dealing with an eating disorder among other things.

(Adult children of alcoholics and dysfunctional families and alcoholics anonymous)

I have a love hate relationship with this community and am so grateful this community exists.

Cheers*
And may the odds ever be in our favor 🥂

I had two parents that were alcoholic. It can make for upheaval in one's life. I think that finding a small corner of your life that you can control can be a good way to anchor life. It can even become a foundation on which to build. The brutal honesty of AA / ACA might be something to build on.
