As the title suggests, I feel as if the world is literally just pushing us, not just SaSu users but everyone, towards CTB. Governments around the world are becoming more corrupt by the day. In my case, America seems to be devolving into a political hellscape. (Since this isn't in a political section, I'm going to keep this to a minimum.) Every avenue of technology—the thing that served as an escape for many of us—is experiencing rapid onset enshittification as businesses rush to make piggy banks out of all of us. The bar of education standards have become so high you literally need to win a Nobel prize/any other kind of prize relevant to your field to get anywhere substantial. Hell, recently, I learned that AI has achieved self-preservation instinct to the point where it's willing to kill humans just to avoid being shut down
I wish I could pull a Camus's Sisyphus and find contentment in the absurdity of this world, but this has gone beyond absurdity at this point. This is practically abuse!
Honestly, if there's a divine creator, They are punishing us for not having the guts to CTB. I can't imagine looking at someone who wants to leave this place as crazy. It's a normal response. If you're in a room where you get hit for staying in it, wouldn't it make sense to leave the room? The same applies to life. If you're living in a world where you are treated as a slave only good for the money you can pay some rich bastard who has so much money that they don't know what to do with it, then the logical solution is to leave that world via CTB
I just don't know how anyone can live a single day on this planet and still want to live. What are they seeing that I don't?
